University of Ibadan, UI will conduct Post-UTME!
The Senate Meeting which was held on Monday 31St July 2017 in conjunction with the Jamb registrar Isaq Oleyede have proposed his approval on the university decision.
The Vice Chancellor of the prestigious university spoke on regards the students performance which was not consolidated. He said in a statement,
‘The student we admitted as of last year 2016/2017 are not academically outstanding in their performance. Imagine a medical student who have A parallel in his WAEC and have 209 in jamb was admitted to MBBS.
He also lamented on students in college of medicine precisely MBBS and Dentistry who had 4 and 6 respectively over 40 in a test. It have never being heard as regard the the mode of admission abducted by JAMB, student admitted are not performing as regards there JAMB and WAEC scores.
The university Registrar have concluded that the university will hold her POST-UTME in September but the date for the exam will be disclosed soon.
